Can you imagine that we live in a world where the right to NOT BELIEVE in something must be protected? That non-believers must be defended and protected?

Indonesia officially recongnizes six different religions, but non-believers are arrested.

If this continues to be the case, I'm declaring a violent, all-out war on people who don't share belief in the supremacy of my favorite sports teams, politicians and pizza toppings. They need to be arrested, removed from every day life, or...killed even? I don't know. This is perhaps extreme, and I don't necessarily agree with it, but afterall, it is written.* It's not something I can change. And I don't see how you interpret it any differently.

Religion is out of control in this country. Both catholics and muslims are engaged in an overt, all out effort for their doctrines to affect our laws, determine how we conduct our business and live our lives.

Oh, but just one quick thing: When the fuck did "relgious liberty" and "religious freedom" mean you can express your ignorance, bigotry and rotten oppressive viewpoints on others outside the law?

These crackpots, their beliefs and behaviors are no different than what muslim's are doing with their islam. Mary Matalin is an idiot for her twisted logic on this. These douchebags held the same beliefs when it came to slavery, women's voting rights, integrated housing, integrating the military, interracial marriage and more. Religious dogma is delusion and ignorance. Religious morality has always been behind the curve, one step behind, has always played catch-up to human morality and decency throughout human history.

It's time to move on. We don't need it. It tears peoples apart. It's a massive waste of human time, resources, and it's destroying the planet.

Going to try and restart this useless thing. Problem is finding the patience and time. It'll mostly be bitching and complaining about how repugnant religion is, the horrible blight that it is on the planet and within our species, and any "believer" who says "we're not all like that" is an ignorant apologist in many ways the worst that the fundamentalist because their ignorance provides and cover.
